Go to the outside world outside of your abode. You will see thousands of people around you. They may or may not know you. You can see that most of those people are on their way to work. Yeah, every day, almost everyone runs to fulfilling their daily routines. Public transport is one of the most widely used types of transportation. Yeah, it could be a bus or a train or an airplane.
In public transportation, we can see people with different thoughts and aspirations often. Some are looking outside with hopeless eyes. Some are looking at books, and some are using their mobiles. So, everybody is alone in their world. Among these, some people think differently in a fantastic way.
Dina Alfasi is such a person. Let us look at Dina’s story.
Dina Alfasi is a mother who works in a hospital as an Israeli engineer. Like everyone else, she used public transportation, and on this journey, she saw people trapped in their world. She had a pretty good habit; that is, she just looked at anything with a beautiful vision.

What did she do because of this habit?

Dina said further, “One of my works is to take a photo of something and tell a story through it. And you can do it too. Only you need to do is, look around to find magical moments with a fantastic vision “.

“I work as a practical architectural engineer in northern Israel. So I use public transport to get from my home to my place of work. During this time, I started taking photos of other passengers using my iPhone.” That was the answer she gave when asked how she referred to photography.

“I try to take photos in a way that highlights emotional expression. So I stop for a moment and pay close attention to the passengers. Then wonder what their story might be through that. And according to that thought, I try to grasp the complexity of human relationships by capturing photographs. Through the photos I take every day, some unique strangers get lost in their world can capture something extraordinary.”

She had started this as a way to pass the time on public transportation. Eventually, it improved and became an essential part of her life. Moreover, she had felt that she has made a small contribution for writing ideas about life during this time.

When asked about the process of photography that she follows, she said, “My iPhone camera always helps me to shoot without anyone noticing as soon as I find something pretty important. The initial thing I look for is the current lighting conditions. Then I try to think about what most suitable angle that photo should be taken”.

Dina loves most to look at the photos that she photographed and read their comments on it. According to her experience, some people look at her pictures and say what they feel in their hearts. Some people also look at the photos and say that they remembered something because of those photos. She has stated that she feels delighted after reading their comments.

Dina loves to take different photos. For that, she likes to go to the beach and Stake Park and spend her valuable time. She said that she feels inspired by amazing photographers worldwide, especially from mobile phone photographers.
